"What sets me apart is my commitment to connecting technical innovation with ethical and moral reasoning, reflecting my studies in Justice and Biblical Theology.
Through my work with HackBack, robotics competitions, and community service initiatives like Giveback Backpacks, I have consistently demonstrated that technology can be a powerful force for social good.
My approach is analytical and persistent—I break down complex problems into solvable parts and push through challenges until meaningful solutions emerge.
Currently, I am conducting independent research on the gamification of education and its impact on student motivation. I love taking apart and reassembling systems—whether robotics, automotive parts, or software—because understanding how things work is the first step to making them better."

Activities
In the Chess Club (Lions), I helped amplify the school's chess team and now lead recruitment, training, and competition strategy. I help in organising weekly practice sessions, coordinating inter-school matches, and mentoring newer players. I also prototyped a mobile app to connect chess clubs across schools, expanding competitive opportunities beyond our immediate community.
As a staff member for the school's Theatre and Set Design, I help in optimizing the school's play and theatre ground and now help in the production of theatre plays. I build the sets needed for the plays over the weeks during the winter, and helped to schedule and rehearse in the plays.
I lead programming and design for our school's competitive robotics team. My responsibilities include writing control code, designing and manufacturing robot components using CAD, strategizing for competitions, and presenting our work to judges and sponsors. I guide the team through the iterative design process, troubleshooting technical challenges and optimizing performance.
I helped organize and lead fundraising efforts for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, raising over $, to support cancer research and patient services. This involved coordinating events, engaging community members, and building awareness about blood cancer research. The experience taught me how to mobilize people around a meaningful cause and demonstrated the real-world impact of persistent, organized effort.
Co-founded and lead a community service organisation providing backpacks and school supplies to students in need. Organise fundraising campaigns, coordinate supply drives, and partner with local schools to ensure educational equity.
Volunteering at a local community center established for helping people in need. I’ve been volunteering at Shepherds table for the past 2-3 years helping to cook and clean for people in need across the country.

I am deeply passionate about designing technology that empowers people with disabilities. My assistive robotic arm project reflects this commitment—I believe that independence should not be limited by physical constraints, and that affordable, open-source solutions can transform lives. I study existing assistive technologies, follow developments in accessible design, and think constantly about how engineering can serve those who are often overlooked by mainstream technology development. Beyond my current project, I'm interested in exploring brain-computer interfaces, adaptive controllers, smart home automation for accessibility, and prosthetics. I believe the future of technology must be inclusive, and I want to be part of building that future.
